PHOTOGRAPHY BY AMY T BEDARD
Day 30: Finish
My day is finished and I close the door on this photo project...until next time!
Day 29: Wear
I don't wear make-up often but when I do, I make my lashes voluminous!
Day 28: Perspective
Me 'falling' down/looking down
Day 27: Season
Adding a little season-ing as I prepare my Sunday dinner.
Day 26: Beauty
Sunsets. Enough said.
Day 25: Window
Windows on an old garage door.
Day 24: Thankful
I am thankful for so many things. Good family and friends...a job I like, enough food to eat--you know I like food, a lot!...a roof over my head and fuel for the furnace...and I am thankful to live in a place with such exquisite beauty just outside my front door.
Day 23: Prepare
Yes, I did! I am prepared!
Day 22: Weather
I love clouds at night.
Day 21: Animal
Snow geese and hawk at the Tree.
Day 20: Color
"Angel Band. Waaayy, way off Broadway!" The piano has been painted and it is nice on this cold, dreary day.
Day 19: Shadow
The Tree and Me.
Day 18: Noise
Geese are quite adept at making their presence known!
Day 17: Structure
A little structure helps the wheels on the bike go round and round.
Day 16: Nature
Raindrops on a yucca plant at the library.
Day 15: Hot
Somewhere between hot and cold.
Day 14: Without A Face
I never carved my pumpkins.
Day 13: Every Day
Every day I check on the Tree and weather as I brush my teeth.
Day 12. Sign
A small sign of safety and inclusion, and rejection of hate.
Day 11: Pride.
My parents received this congratulatory note from the Obamas on their 60th wedding anniversary. They were SO proud. Mom had me frame it so she could hang it on the wall for everyone to see.
Day 10: Movement
We found this Rubsam & Horrmann Brewing Co. beer bottle at the ruins of an Italian Camp William H. Miner built for Heart's Delight Farm workers. The bottle represents the movement not only of products, but of the Italian immigrants and the company's German founders. Rumor has it another Italian Camp had a store and it's number one selling item was beer.
Day 9: Line
These lines tell this tree's life story.
Day 8: Decisions
Deciding WHO to cast your vote for is tough. The decision to vote is not. Let me pull out my violin and play a tune for non-voters complaining about how this country is run.
Day 7: Metal
Staples.
Day 6: Free
A few of my library cards. My cards give me free access to so many resources: books, movies, music, databases, librarians, and so much more!
Day 5: Love
The Ash Tree. I love this tree. I photographed it everyday for 2 years. Doing so not only improved my photography, I also spent a lot of time observing nature and the passage of time while waiting for the right moment to capture the daily photo.
Day 4: Detail
The pattern on a chair.
Day 3: Community
My community for the rest of the week is 1,000 fellow librarians in Saratoga Springs.
DAY 2: Selfie
Just me.
Day 1: Trade
My trade (librarian) has me at my computer more than at the bookshelves.
