We started off our vacation in Seattle and as we set sail we knew we had almost two days to sit back and enjoy the sights on our way to Juneau.
Juneau stops included Mendenhall Glacier, up ride up the Mt. Roberts Tram--something I had never done--and just enjoying Juneau. Love this town!
Cruising through Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve is a once (or more than once) lifetime experience.
Sitka is exquisite. The area is a and the surrounding area dotted with islands of all shapes and sizes are of small islands with an abundance of wildlife. While there we took a smaller boat to get between these islands, visited a raptor and bear rehabilitation centers and then had a little time to explore the town of Sitka on Baranof Island.
Our last day in Alaska was spent in Ketchikan. I've been here many times so I opted to walk around and visit a few museums, enjoy the always-in-bloom Whale Park, and of course the liquid sunshine!
